Great family outing! The water is perfect depth and temperature for kids off all ages. Nice picnic area making for an excellent all day trip. The temperature with the wind coming off the water always makes for a good escape from the heat.
Wonderful place for family time. The water is great, our grandbabies loved that they could walk out "what is far to them" and it didn't get to deep for them, they are 3 & 5. The people in the store were great, you could definitely tell that they like their work. Have been going there since 1999 and will continue to do so for many more years
Great place to take kids. Water is very shallow for a long distence. Also plenty of trees for shade. A place to get food boat rentals beach items. My only complaint is they charge parking by the person so 6 of nning us costed 24 bucks
Great time to bring young ones, the water is shallow for quite a distance out, the water is clean and a bit warmer then you would think(because of the shallows). If you stay in the park over night, the sun sets are FANTASTIC.
